I was scheduled for 6 days this week. But now Ive been given Friday off. Was thinking of getting tickets for a Friday showing of Goblet of Fire in the evening, so a Friday morning AV run at 10 or 11 sounds good.

FYI for everyone, when I say I need enough advance notice, that means that I need at least 2-3 days prior notice.

As far as Sunday at Noon EST goes, I can't. I work every weekend now, so it's next to impossible for me to do that. The week nights are much better for me. That being said, I also have Harry Potter IMAX tickets for tomorrow night, but if you can get enough people to do it without me, please don't let me hold anyone back!!

I'd say under 15. There are a few people on our Global Channel who don't participate in chatting on it, and pretty much ignore the SG these days. I consider those inactive or sub-active members to be honest.

For the most part, people who when on play with us and/or intereact with us via chat I consider to be active. I mean even when I play on Virtue, I still chat on our channel because you're all the people I chose to not just play, but to experience this game with.

I don't feel that how often a person is on matters, its when they log in if they choose to interact with us.

Is that a better answer?

I think by active I mean't something more than just breathing. How about members who logon once a week or more? Even though that may not neccessarily be into their AoJ account. I don't play Fuze very often anymore but I would still count myself as active.

Off the top of my head I could probably name a dozen players I see in our global channel. Its almost always the same names. It sounded from your post that you were putting our active membership at something under 24.

hehe the best time for me to run AV mishes are my off nights: Wed and Thurs. Or a Saturday or Sunday afternoon from 12 to 3 pm est.

Well consider that the basic telelporter and basic rez-pad are not great. The teleporter will only take two beacons, and the rez-pad will only give back 25% health.

Better ones are made through crafting.

So I think that alone is incentive for crafting.

I don't think we have a large enough SG to be able to realisitically do raiding anyway. The Cathedral of Pain Trial allows for 24 members broken into three teams. We don't even have 24 people who are consistently on.

That said, I wouldn't bother paying rent again until after we get something functional in the base. Not paying rent just makes the base not work, it doesn't prevent you from entering it afaik.

Also I believe you really only pay rent on rooms/items that serve a purpose. Hence why it was so low.

As for planning I'm up for anything

I was sort of pushing for getting a Forge going, but [censored] that now. After learning that you have to expend Prestige to place it? Forget it. Crafting is nothing but a literal timesink. It's a shame. I don't care for it.

And I really don't care to have a raidable base. At this point I'd much rather have the personal teleporter, and medical bay. Having those are really beneficial in terms of Quality of Life in the the game, and I don't mind timesinking for those. Anything else...meh.

I have Giovanna, Dreck, and Dominatrix. Not sure which of those (if any) could be duo'd. You have a Psi/Dark and Invuln/SS/Regen and SS/Gravity (I think).

(who has Gravity powers in the CoH Pantheon? that's the clue to who Ms. Liberty's father is)

I've got one of my mish slots stuck at the Clockwork King. I've killed him several times, but now that I've finally gotten the mish myself, can't get a group to go and take him out.

If I wasn't leveling, I wouldn't be making prestige on this character, more than likely. On the other hand, if a duo could take out one of your AVs, I'd be happy to be yer lil' buddy.

Workbenches are 50k a pop. But we still need a Generator and a Mainframe first. And a Workshop.

One thing that is sucking for me right now is that (a) just general hunting for Prestige sucks, and (b) Starmaster is stuck with 3 AV missions so can't get any non-AV ones.

At least this time around. It was paid on 11/15 and was only 122 prestige.

We've collected 100k prestige since the building of the initial base. Not too many people being seen out there in Paragon.

Well, there's also lots of reporting issues with Prestige.

What I mean is that the 20k per member for first 15 members is all screwy. Even last night when we finally added a 15th member to the VG we got a message saying we got the bonus, and then another saying it was lost.

There's also an issue where what people have earned takes an incredibly long time to report to the SG window. For example if you total what's in the SG listing for each character and add the 300k total bonus, neither the SG nor the VG have a proper number showing.

I like the fact that anyone can check the Prestige total of the SG by looking at the SG charter. We were at 70k total yesterday afternoon, so only 280k to go!

Also, on the Prestige totals, I think it's totaling total amount of prestige gained since you've been in the SG, so the different between mine and Frosty's amounts may have been that I had done some solo missions in SG mode and collected 2k of prestige before I grouped up with him.

It seems that per mob kills differ in Prestige, not only by faction but according to your own level. It seems that level 50s might be getting shafted on Prestige for some reason.

Well best time might be during my off nights, say Tuesday or Wednesday. Im off tonight but plan on going to dinner soon and seeing a movie. Ive done three runs so far and generated 2k each time. And I didnt even hit a third of the mobs in the mish. I think if we hit all the mobs, save Drek, we will pretty much generate our monthly upkeep. And we could do this once a week. Shoot just look at what we have done in a week that I6 and CoV has been active.

Maq has generated 12k and Shortstuff has managed to generate 10k on CoV side. And Fuz has kicked in the afterburners! (50k last I looked) . It just seems like a lot when ya see that you only get 25 per Mob. But when ya hit a 10 mobs of 5 and each mob individual is 15 to 25, prestige accumalates fast.

I just logged in to check on the numbers, and they changed since I had logged off. Not sure what that means or why it happened.

Anyways, as I looked Hellstrom had 8702 prestige and I had 6071. We were both on roughly the same time, so I am not sure of why their is such a difference.

Right now rent is easy, at worst its 3700 Prestige, at best its none.

Do you have exact numbers on that? I'd like to get some, because while he should get more (being effectively one level lower than you) he should not be getting twice as much.

I'm not sure exactly how this is working, but it is most definitely not equal for all levels.

Today Hellstrom and I got into a group doing the Dreck Mission. Frosty is level 50 and Hellstrom is level 42, but I SK'd him, so he was at level 49.

During this mission, Hellstrom earned more than double what Frosty did. We were both in SG mode and played in the same mission for the same amount of time. Together we got a total of about 13k for almost 2 hours of work!

Paying the rent is going to be tough!

Heard the same, but realistically, people will want functionality, otherwise, why bother. Bases cost too much. Its just that simple.

By the way, from what I've heard, if you can't pay rent, the "functional" items in your base won't work, but nothing is lost. So as long as we don't have functional items, we don't have to worry about rent.

Now that I'm back, I'm working on getting Hellstrom up to the magic 50, so I'll try and keep him in SG mode as much as I can.

I did, however, finally buy CoV. I'll try not to let the new shiny thing distract me too much.

I finally got Drek so hey anytime anyone wants to go looking for some Prestige. I still think though that the Drek mish should be changed to a timed mish.

In case anyone hasnt noticed yet. When the base is online and you are given a choice of hospital or base, hit the base. It will cut down on travel time to door mishes. When you zone from base back to city, you zone right outside of the door mission.

Theoretically no.

A level 1 earns the same prestige per "kill" as a level 50.

Minions are worth one value, Lts another, and Bosses another. Then there's a con bonus/penalty for conning offsets.

You want the real reason for the 17 mob agro cap? Its to avoid people farming Prestige.
