Sea Witch - lamest fight ever

Tried to solo the SW today. I had waited until I leveled after picking up the mission so I'd have a better chance. I tried the fight about 5 times and each time I'd get her down just a sliver of health and she'd start running all over the zone and regen her health. In a game that I've always held up as having the best small group combat in MMOs, I was hoping for a much better experience with this fight.
My guild leader in Instant Villians took her on solo but I think she got bugged during his fight. He mentioned that she didn't do her lightning storm or whirlwind during the fight. At least he died the first 5 times he tried. I didn't die once.

The trick is to save the 3
The trick is to save the 3 or 4 family guys in the beginning. They seem to do a tremendous amount of damage to her, more than any player I've ever seen fight her. Then lead her to them. She seems to move around less one they engage her.
Once adavantage I have is that I can ground fliers.
