Rules

The following text describes our rules and any other general guidelines you should follow as a member. Questions or comments regarding this process should be directed to an Avatar or emailed to Miss Dale at:

Our rules are loosely based upon the playstyle that we have developed as a group over time, and some very basic philosophy that should be applied while playing games.

  • NO Illegal Software shall be sold or given away in Supergroup chat and/or on this website.
  • Play nice. Remember, you're playing with others, and therefore you should play fair. Sometimes backing off is the better part of valor.
  • Have fun. Above all else this is a game. Keep that in mind. A lot of people who play games walk a fine line between them being fun and being a job. Also if you're having fun, and you show it, chances are the people around you are having fun too.
  • Be polite and courteous to others in public. Look at our motto. Remember always that you're not just representing yourself in game but that you're representing all of us. We each carry the words "Avatars of Justice" floating above our head. If you're foul mouthed or rude to someone, that reflects on all of us, and people will go around saying the AoJ is rude and foul mouthed. In other words if you tarnish your reputation you tarnish our reputation.
  • Communicate. Communication is key to any relationship, and that is what we have here a relationship. We also only have the chat window to be our guide, we can't read each other's minds, and we can't talk to each other verbally, so we have to remember to type our thoughts and actions to each other. If you don't, and you get into trouble, then you really only have yourself to blame.
  • Do not abandon another member in need. If someone needs help with a mission, try to help them. If you're helping them, don't pick up and leave. Consider that you wouldn't want them doing the same to you. (note: of course power outage, emergency, mom wants you off the computer, etc. are all valid reasons for having to leave)
